This update was made for Groundhog's 1968E drag race this Thursday.

Contains:
- asphalt
- a different asphalt in the finish zone
- start line
- finish line
- track.ini with corrected pit stalls (a maximum of 11 stalls at the start line)

Also contains:
- sky, ground and horizon files from Pic du Midi track (Kudos to the original author.)
- new program cover, based on a vintage poster image.

Edit:
Added a modified track.ini for server. It puts player 1 (the server itself) into the second row.

I had a GPLRACER drag race in mind for a long time.
With your update it is now possible.

On brilliant request of Jani, this updates the track with a 2 minutes START sequence in a loop at the finish line to do a series of races without having to reset every time.
Since I was there, I optimized a little the track.3do.

I've just tested Ginetto's addons from post #4 above.  Brilliant!  Works a treat.  Thanks, again.

To be Used in training mode only, I gather.  The AI go a little nuts.

Seems that online the start sequence is not usable since the countdown start individually the moment when the track is loaded and every member has a different timing for the Start sign to appear. Too bad since it was kind of a cool feature.

Well, this file replace the start signs sequence with an empty 3do file so you can use the track with the latest updates without the additional START.

Seems silly first, but once you try it you will understand how fun it is Unfortunately I could not get the starter patch made, so we must start by the usual chat starter. Please read the race procedure below. Number of heats may vary depending the number of entrants.

DRAG RACE – Always held at Z1000 track. A drag race contains 8 heats from which 6 results count. Finish positions are rewarded with usual points. The points add up, the driver with the most points win. It is like a mini championship. Heats are run during a long practice session. Be sure you can join the server in time. First heat starts at 20:10 UK time. Starts are shot by an admin on the chat. So please doublecheck if your in-car chat is switched ON. At Z1000 you don't need to finish the lap. Positions are recorded from tv2 camera. It's very much advised to use the asphalt upgrade for z1000. This will help you to keep straight line.
