Anybody play this game Grand Prix World. Management game from Microprose 1998/99.

I've reinstalled the game but would like to be realistic. Jacque Villeneuve is not in the game and replaced by John Newhouse, because Jacque wouldn't allow the licencing of his name.

I've changed to his name inside the game but can't change to his driver photo. I've searched online and tried to look inside the dir files, to see if I could change it myself, but can't find a way to do it. I found a link on File planet for the Villeneuve patch fix, but that link is dead.

So can anybody help and provide me the file? Apologies for the off topic!

Thanks jgf for the info.

I didn't explain it right in the opening thread. The file planet link is the one I've seen. I can't see a link to download. Does that mean you have to join file planet to download? Which is not a problem.

There should be a download button on the upper right, perhaps you have security software blocking it.   downloaded and virus scanned -  gpw-villeneuve.zip   74.57K   0 downloads

It was me. I was going to the File planet site with my mobile cell phone and for some reason it wasn't showing the download link 🤭🤭🤔🤔😂😂

Going on my laptop with Google Chrome I can see the link. Silly me 😂

Ah, the wonderfully compatible internet.  I've encountered sites where download buttons appeared in IE but not in Firefox.

You'd think in these days, with not only the rise of technology, but the Android revolution, that everything would be accessable.

Just shows you can't do everything by mobile cell phone and you still need some kind of PC.
