Hey everyone!

I'm quite enjoying GP Legends driving and practicing with the new F1 1968mod. I'm always starting it via Gem+ and it runs perfectly without any issues.

If there only wasn't the strange bug, let's call it like so, that won't let you change the player's helmet colour, as it results always to be black, no matter which colour you choose within the player setting menue!

Do you guys experience the same problem, when running the GPL F1 1968mod?

Have you any idea how to fix this? The A.I. helmet colour is fine, though, and there are no issues either, concerning missing start numbers on the cars ecc., like it has been reported earlier somewhere else..!

AFAIK helmet color works only if you are not using a 2D helmet. Most (if not all) mod cars use a 3D helmet, so choosing a color is pointless. Your option for a custom helmet is edit the player helmet texture.

Yes Michcov is right about the helmet colour option in the player menu. It works only if you ARE using a 2D helmet.

If you want to change the player face and helmet in the 68 mods you need to edit the plaface/plahelm.mips in the cars/c00 folder for the early and late carset. It will then change on all of the player cars.
