Also Tasman missing tracks will be wellcome when availables.
But what I'm really need is a delay for the 68 mod (sorry guys), as the Jarama I'm working on is just the 1968 F1 race. The worse challenges of the track are almost surpassed, but there is still a lot of work.
PD: I was there and took some pics. That week -the monday before-, was my 16th birthday!

I've tried track-making myself, but it takes a lot of time and effort to create a GPL circuit, and when I tried it I started having all sorts of problems with trackside objects and buildings suffering from clipping, and other problems. I will try to get back to the subject at some point in the future when I have more time, but in the meantime I try to work on some less ambitious tasks, such as increasing the MIP levels of track textures to reduce 'sparkling' and aliasing problems.
Thanks to all of the current GPL modders for continuing to give us new content, and keeping the sim alive now for twenty-one years!

Any mod from almost any era with a GPL and car centered editing tool. We have the cars (F1 & Sports). Currently you can get to 95% very quickly but to finish a "SRMZ" worthy mod is, I'd wager, like getting close to a black hole. Just look at the work of Gianfranco, Francesco, and Greg below. Others are always welcome. Bob

-> also click on Index on top of the page to sort by Year, Name, Created, Modified
And to give you a little insight into the workload of the development of a track...
For example, the track building thread of a private forum for a GPL track that will be released soon
was started on 15 Jul 2018 and has atm #4538 posts on 182 pages! And the track building team was not talking about the weather.
Edit: Well, and if they talked about the weather, then only how the sky looked in 65 and 55.

Just stay in good health for everyone in this community, so we can enjoy GPL for another year.

Only one of Kyalami's corners is too tight. Otherwise it's pretty good. The worst track in GPL now is Watkins Glen. The back straight down to the S/F line is completely wrong. See from 1:16: https://www.youtube....h?v=2NUWlViGF2s

Why were the times so slow at Kyalami in 67? Qualifying 1.28.3 and fastest lap 1.29.9. I know most of the cars were 66 cars but that can't be the reason. In GPL those times are easily beaten with 65 cars. I would think it has to be more than one turn.

65 mod physics are horrendous.
Look at the 1968 quali times instead.

The track was resurfaced in 1968, and widened to make better racing. And I guess the circuit got a lot faster with that, too.
