I like elk meat Leon. It's why as an old fart I still go elk hunting and the main reason I moved to Colorado. Completely off topic but I do that well.

I'd love to try it one day, along with Bison.

In my opinion? AC with CSP and SOL. No doubt about it. I remember when AC was a jagged lines, aliasing festival. Now it is incredibly sharp, it's the sharpest game I have in my library. Plus the weather environment that Ilja has managed to create is unbelievable. Superior by far to RF2 and iRacing's; I would say on par with ACC. The color palette however is much more balanced compared to ACC (given that you can use a palette similar to ACC through SOL's options, if you like). ACC is very badly optimized, runs poorly and looks bad on my system. Definitely worse than AC. You need to run it on 4k Epic settings to match what AC is now thanks to those mods.

Ok, that helps me decide because ACC looks great on my system and runs smooth. If a modded AC looks better I have to try it.

As I said, it's all free, Content Manager, Custom Shaders Patch, Sol. Try them, you got nothing to lose. Mind that you'll need to tinker quite a bit with all of the new options and settings made available by the CSP however, through CM. Take your time

After all this time, I still mantain that AC has really bad engine, aero and suspension models, not to mention the ugly-as-sin and confusing stock UI that needs a 3rd party launcher to get ridden of. If to that one would be to add the idiotic RPM limiters that have no business being there (seriously, a '58 595SS with a limiter? It seems I'm Lupin III then...), the situation, for me, gets really laughable.
But again, I liked it more when it was in the fist stages of Early Access, when there were almost none of the issues I've enumerated.... and the SOL/Custom Shaders really look a treat.
Far from me telling you to not buy it, you're the owner of your own wallet, but please... DON'T buy SimRacingDream's stuff. I'll personally hunt you down if you do.

All I ever bought for AC was the two GPL cars.

That's about as believable as it can get. Good job.
