Although I didn't see it on my 24" monitor, the poor anti aliasing of Rfactor and its descendent Automobilista is oft discussed in the forums on Steam.

For Automobilista you have to set AA trough the driver software of your gpu indeed, as a profile for the game. Without it the jagged lines are pretty bad.

I don't know whether Pete deleted AMS or the 1937 mod because of the jaggy's.
I tuned my Nvidia card long time ago to play Battlefront's series of wargames, and honestly on my 24" monitor I didn't see any jaggys (or I may have to get aneye exam).
