-XK-, this is an interesting project that you propose.  From the original track construction there are trees that clip with others, causing the 'blinking' effect.  I at first thought that there was some FB caused pop-up / pop-downs happening.  But, no amount of FB adjustment would cure the effect.

So, adding or replacing some of those tree object would be a cool method to accomplish that task.  :)

By the way, I have posted an updated 1967 version for the SCX mod here - https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...showtopic=12675

Good work -XK-.

Really can't be used together your update and gliebzeit's SCX?

Last week I passed Reims on my way to Paris. Finally I had the chance to drive by the old pit building near the town of Gueux, starting from restaurant La Garenne (taking the D27) and ending at the roundabout where the old track is interrupted (the track continues as a long dead end street, only to be used by locals). It is pretty easy (by taking the D26) to get to the long descending straight, the Route Nationale 31. It's amazing to see how well the GPL track simulates the real world!

Yes, Thomas' original track and Greg's update gives us one of the best looking tracks in GPL,  :)

Surprising those old buildings still exist since these are public roads and the last races there were forty years ago (maybe the locals sit and watch the traffic).

Luckily we have Les Amis du Circuit de Gueux :)
https://www.facebook...iscircuitgueux/

They renewed the Pavilion, held a wonderful meeting of race/car/racecar fans past September, and once there's enough money, they will rebuild the S/F Dunlop bridge too :)

Reims GPL version seems a little wide compared to the real one. Would be nice to have a narrowed version.
