Hello everybody :)

Attached File  Christmas.jpg   11.35K   453 downloads

This update concerns only the graphics, and not the physic which remains unchanged.
You will find all the precedent updates merged into each cars's folders, plus some files that I've added these two last years.

The main features are :

- New skins and new cockpit for the Anderson and Gardner's Brabham BT11.
- New skins and cockpit for the Brabham BT7.
- New skins for the Cooper T77.
- On-line skins for the Brabham and the Lotus.
- All the different cars skins usable by the player.
- New AI faces and helmets, steering wheels, gloves, arms, wheels, tires and rear axles for all the cars.
- An update of the Non-Championship races made by Irridux.
- A lot of small modifications...
- And a lot of extra files that you will find in each cars's folders, with the possibility to always go back easily....

There is also into each archives a ReadMe file for the installation, it is really simple and if you have some doubts, just ask here.

There is only one imperative : You have to install the Mod'65 version 2.0.2 before !!!
Here is the link : https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...391

I'd like to recommend you also to install the sound pack made by Intruder in 2012, it's an absolute must have.
Here is the link : https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...403

I would like also to warmly thanks ;

- Rémy Roesz who gave me the high resolution skins almost finished for the Anderson and Gardner's Brabham,
and also the 3DO for the on-line skins.
- TvO who teached me how to ameliorate the wheels (among others...)
- Pavel and his brother who tested everything and who edited a big pile of 3DO !!!
- TJC who tested also the updates and gave me some encouraging feedbacks.
- Stefan Roess who has also tested the whole package without getting sick...
- Hagapito who gave me his agreement to incorporate his beautiful external mirrors.
- Leon_90 who also gave me his agreement to modify and add his wonderful layout.
- And also Irridux who gave me his agreement to retouch all his Non-Championship update.

Finally a big big thanks to all those who allow to SRMZ to continue his peaceful existence...
And a happy birthday to GPL, as well as a happy new year to all of you !!!

Here are some screen captures and you will find also some updates in the next post.

Have some fun !

Nice job!!

My only complaint looking at the pictures is that the Ferrari steering wheel rim looks a tad too big, but everything else looks great

Just spotted this 90 minutes before the New Year.

One last "Prezzie" for 2018!

The '65's never looked or sounded as good as this.

A very polished effort from everyone involved.

Many thanks!

Re the sounds; I know how hard it must be to make an authentic set of sounds that are different enough and work on all systems. I have tried a few times with very limited success.

There are some good sounds in all three alternative sets, however on my system the Intruder set gives the nicest balance and richness.

"Well done that man!"

Amazing job here db. Many thanks for doing this and putting it all together. A great improvement to the 65 mod. It was a pleasure to help out with testing. Will give this a try later today. B)

Wow, thanks! I love driving the 65's so this is a great update.

Is the version 2.0.2 a new one released today, or could I already be using it? If so, how can I check?

Many thanks!

Hi Db312, what is the goodwd65 track that is in the 65season.ini file (I see there also is a Gplea season with normal goodwood track)

Is it some special version of Goodwood, or just a special copy similar to silver2?

The mod is looking great, by the way!

JonnyA - no, it's an old patch, from 2009. So you probably already have it.
If you installed it, in your GPL\repository\GPL65 folder you should have 65Patchv2.0.2.txt file. Also, a g65.ini file in the seasons folder (1965 world championship season).

Oops ! I forgot to specify that... Thank you for pointing out it, Orlinos !

Effectively, the "65season.ini" that you find in the Irridux update's updated, is for a new version of Goodwood which is in progress, and the other one which is in the folder "65season_Goodwood_GPLEA" is for the actual version. Sorry...

As we say in french from the last century, I see that the updates are flying off the racks... Thanks to everybody for your kind words :)

Congratulations, Denis, and thank you for this excellent update. It gives the 65mod a very welcome graphical "freshen up" and fills a few hires gaps - particularly the privateer Brabham dashes, although I seem to spot a different new graphical improvement every time I run this mod now!
Thank you once again for all the hard work which must have gone into this update - my favourite mod just got a wonderful New Year makeover :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

'...a new version of Goodwood which is in progress'

*salivates

This is one of my all-time favourite tracks! Is it for a '65 version of the track, instead of the Revival?
