Procrastination overcome by necessity.

DFGT buttons fading, so (why not?) found a cheap used G25 awhile back.
But the pedal block no way fits the old cobbled up scrap wood racing console.

So after several not so sleepless days and nights...

another cobbled together scrap wood racing console.

The free swivel wheels are from an abandoned executive office chair.
The free seat is from an Alfa Spider that got better seats.
A neighbor threw away the plywood, (which gave me the incentive).
A friend contributed the scrap lumber.

Bought some screws.

Its 23.5in wide.

Almost done!

...done enough.

The DFGT is not completely gone, (it was plugged in during renovation), so will worry about the G25 later.
Sure I will be much faster now.

Well guys with those comments its hard to be humble.
While working as a carpenter bosses were not so quick to share your opinions.

Really happy tho to know you all appreciate the effort.

Remco's Tyrrell cockpit inspired and encouraged me.
Hopeful this one will as well be an incentive to someone else.

So Andy, get to work, don't give up...its easier than you think.
Organization equals implementation.
Might want to ask a carpenter friend for some help rather than take a risk and make a very unfortunate rookie mistake.
Its a simple job but there is some danger if inexperienced with power tools.

Attached pic of old rig...back to scrap.
Check out all those good ideas!

John, have you incorporated this into your 'projector' set up, or do you plan to do so later on ?

Paddy, referring to post #9 you can see the rig is already in use with projector.
The prior full size model of the Lotus 49 front is gone except for the nose cone you can see on top in front of the steering wheel.
Building new wheels and control arms, (white felt over foam) is the next step.

Thanks.
