Do you mean 69 Xtra MOD?
https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=6918
or just the 69 patch v3.1?
https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=4538
Both these links have no captcha that I can see for downloading files

cheers.. those links should do fine.
now I have a different issue..
67 cars work fine from GEM but cant get 69 ones going.
installation is just GPL.exe
I have the right carset and a saved 69 profile.. it goes into the game but as soon as I try to test or race it bombs out. (says Grand Prix Legends has stopped working..)
Ive taken a screenshot of the GEM screen but can I attach it to a post?

Have you tried deleting the gplc69.exe or the gplx69.exe,depending on which 69 mod you installed and letting GEM rebuild it by starting GEM ?

Did you follow the easy installation guide for the MODs by Stefan Roess? Check at point # 2.4

Followed the install guide exactly and deleted previous files first then re-intsalled but it still crashes. I can run GEM and then from GEM run GPL which opens OK but as soon as I click the green button to race it fails.
the 67 and 65 versions work fine...
Mybe I delete the whole lot and do it again from scratch?

Tried a complete new install, incl GEM .. No change, basic 67 and 65 work fine but 1969 mod fails with a Windows message..
Driving me insane! There must be something in the 69 mod that isn't in the others... But what? Sound? Graphics?
My PC is a brand new i7 / GTX1080 / DX12 / 32g ram / screamer ....

Hard to tell, 69 mod has seen different patches and it might be that you are missing one step.
I myself had install just 69 Xmod which is a later, more complete and fun and last but not least, it surely install OK

Hi famin.
I am not in front of my race PC but IIRC the 69 mod patch mentions in the readme that you need to delete certain files (or just one file) before you install the patch. Just a guess. Pls check all 69 mod and patch readme instructions again.
Also make sure that no anti virus software is blocking any GPL or mod exe.

Sometimes a file in the install gets corrupted. Usually it can be fixed by reinstalling the mod that is not working, if that fails a complete GPL reinstall does the job. The later is a bit of work but the settings can be migrated over so nothing too fiddly.

SUCCESS!! I installed the 69XTRA mod and in doing so noticed that the 60fps mod recommended using the 60fpsv1 patch NOT the 60fpsv2newmod. I tried that one (60fpsv1) and the xtra mod worked! Sooooo... I thought ... wonder if that v1 patch would work on the base 69mod. Copied it over to the correct folder (options under GEM+ under mods under GPL), deleted the 60fpsv2newmod and gave it a try. Voila! it works...
woohoo 3 days banging head against this but finally success!
as an aside I noticed that use of the Direct3dv2 ratserizer allows the 1920x1080 graphics option so best to use that as well for an nvidia card (if your PC is up for it) I think.
Hope this helps others. I suspect its the use of the latest DirectX12 that may be the issue re the 60fps fix but whatever... all go now.. Thanks for helping me to persist on this.

Well, you never said before that you were trying it with 60Hz patch(es).
If you don't say anything, everybody think you are using default 36 Hz.
