Not worth your time, it's a very bad mod with awful physics.

Look at it the other way - one can always use it as a historic "grid filler" while driving stock Lotus or Fezza.

Imagine this, for a beat:
1. Slimjim (rFactor F1Classic) rips off GPLEA models.
2. GPLEA calls him out for it, telling him to make his own models.
3. Slimjim makes his own models, getting somewhat good success.
4. Romanian group Simracingdream steals Slimjim's work, repackages it to AC, slips the Lotus 49 physics on ALL cars.
5. Last step: have the unmitigated GALL to ask at least 10 euros to "acquire a licence" to use the mod, doxing everyone calling them out on their bullshit.
If it wasn't clear enough, they're amongs the few people I'd LOVE to burn at the stake. Despicable bastards.

Ah right, that was the story behind the mod indeed. I remember there was something sketchy going on. Luckily it's easy to find a free download link, even though that's still not worth it.

6. this "payware" abomination-of-a-mod leaks out, Bazza takes it, reworks physics of all cars to make them more or less in-line with historic specs and makes it available for free.
P.S. A bit of a trivia - as of now, the history repeats itself with another old mod - the '75 one. Stolen by the same "10 Euro" guys, leaked and being reworked by Bazza again, with intention of free distribution when it's done.

Bazza spends more time building and tweaking these mods than he gets the chance to drive them. If some hint of GPLEA work is still buried in there it should be regarded as a compliment. At least this way 30000+ are enjoying the spirit of '67.

(Even since I read that infamous thread on Clermont-Ferrand 65 texture update, I feel disgusted. Those talented modders probably never return, the recent departure of Thomas is a great loss too

Don't blame me. I started the thread asking about it and was told it was stolen.
If you guys are saying it isn't stolen where can it be gotten from?

Haven't a clue what hoops would need to jumped through to get the essential programs installed before adding the mod. Total ignoramus in regards to things AC.

It's a pattern with me. I experiment and then come back home.
