hello there!!
i decided to allow all of you to try this beta track.
Track was started long time ago for a french GPLer, he past to me track, i try to finished, had a HD failure and lost build files.
Track was on good shape so far, AI is working, and most of scenary it is OK.
its a great track for racing.
Download Track here:

https://www.mediafire...ndiab_042315.7z

Track has not installer, so you have to drop at sierra/gpl/tracks and ADD manually or trought GEM+

Thanks to everyone who test track and help me to make this track.
Not sure what next step, since lack of build files and lack of time make this track sleep at my HD.
I hope you enjoy it and have fun around it :)

Cheers

Sergio Loro

Nice news ! One of the missing old F1 track is now available.

Thank you very much Sir Loro.

Now we just need Pedralbes and Ais for Pescara to have all F1 tracks between 1950 and 67.

Beautiful track layout and scenario, the mountais seem real
but.. unfortunately the track is too narrow so it's very difficult to pass

The Ain Diab track that Sergio has made was only used by F1 in 1958 for a championship race - the 7th Moroccan GP.  There was a F1 non-championship race in 1957 on a slightly longer circuit.

Of course this track can be added to any 1955 season file.

Well, the track in itself is a good start, but I think it needs some improvement:

1. The graphics can use a bit more polygons on the road: the track was really barren in real life, so I don't see a risk in making a more detailed road in the most interesting points.
2. Road surface is too slippery: maybe it'ìs just me, but after 5 laps usually I remember the braking points, but I always end up overshooting it with the Cooper T81. I'll have to test it with the 55 to check if it's the mod's grip or the track's grip at fault.
3. Was the track really this... narrow? Doesn't seem like it in the Stanford Edu's Library :/

All in all, it can be a sorta of Adelaide "ante-litteram": fast straight and bends coupled with a twisty, headache-inducing section :)

+1 especially on only one track to go.

Had no idea...threshold of a Grand Prix Legends milestone dream.

Thanks Lord for the link.

Actually, there is working AI for both '54 Pedralbes and '54 Pescara .... although both tracks and AI are in beta form at this time.
