I'm getting back into it, really never left, just hardly used it. And it seems no one is talking about rFactor or even using it anymore, I could be wrong. To me, it seems the best sim for open wheels.

Anyway I do have a question, I'm using the default trainer mod to learn tracks in different seasons of F1, most of those tracks are in track packs, i.e all the 1988's are in one folder, all the 2013's are in one, all the 1979's are in one and so on. My question is, why don't some of these show up as being able to race on in the default mod?

Same here, just getting back after a 7 year hiatus.  ...really surprised on the lack a rF2 stuff.

From the main menu you should see all the tracks!?! The Track Packs "should pull down" and show all the tracks within the set.  Have you done the "ISI_BABYFACTORY" (the chat line buy all cheat) not sure this will help.
Also, you may have to tweek the rfm file for the mod your in (F1-1988). "//" in front of the line pointing to the osc file(s) -getting the GUI back to the standard GUI.

Rfactor 1 is being used by HSO for Cart and F1

I got it figured out, it seems ISI didn't want you to use the trainer to train, I'm using an F3 mod.
