Here are some graphics changes to the Pau track to bring it closer to the 1955 version and the Grand Prix of Pau.

This graphical update uses the '55 Mod naming convention ie 3do files are 355; mip files are m55; and srb files are s55.

Pau67 track by Alain Bosco - https://a.bosco.free.fr/gpl/gpl.htm
These changes are to be applied over Jetman's hi-res update - https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=2038
OR use the complete track folder provided.

Here is the Pau '55 track conversion complete folder - https://www.mediafire...ete_gl_v1.4.rar
Here is the Pau '55 track conversion mod files only - https://www.mediafire...ion_gl_v1.4.rar

*** Complete folder AI files by EZ ***

EDIT:  Version 1.4 above [12/26/2017]

As I was adding the links to the original tracks and their updates, I found that I did not have Jetman's full hi-res update for pau67 included within the '55 track conversion complete folder archive.
So, please go back to Post #1 and D/L the v1.3 archive.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

A small update to remove the crowd at Lycee corner ... and to replace some of the others with 1950s style men and women.  ;)

Michel,have you seen this?  :)

EDIT 1:  Removed the white-painted crosswalks, replaced plastic cones with haybales and removed the overhead walkway crossing Avenue Napoleon. Wrong. Reverted.
EDIT 2: Some very beautiful textures of hay bales, adverts and wall structures have been found around and about - author???
EDIT 3:  Removed cones from chicane.... along with their collision factor.

the left hander corner after Marshall Foch monument., today and in 1966 for the F2 race. Not in the thirties maybe, but during the sixties, the same house where here, but not forcibly with pink walls.

Jetman houses and buildings, for shape and style are still for most of them fantasy. He did a great job, as he didn't have the data.In some places, he added houses that have never existed.

You can guess the right hander corner after Marshall Foch monument in the background on the left, it is a bumpy tight corner commanding the fall going to Buisson corner.

Rob, you  asked infos about the chicane. Here how it is arranged now.And how the place was in 1966 F2 race.

Afaik, the plot as certainly changed from the past, but the  Chicane was not there in the fifties and the sixties.See the street coming from the left that connect with the main street.
Really a tight place, with a narrowed track. Only  room for one car. Formula 2 historics( a mix of cars between 1969 and 1977) , with 2 Liters cosworth, or 1850 cc Cosworth BDA or 1600 FVA, took the chicane in snd gear, at least that is what I have heard during the event.

cars are a March 712 ( 1971) and the snd, a March 772

Other captures from the 1966 Formula 2 race.Nothing to protect from the kerbs on left side, and only haybales on the right.

the fast section after Lycee hairpin going to the Casino .

from the inside of Beaumont Park, there is a lake. Shot at the section after the fast left curve is followed by a fast right. The track course is behind the trees . No Rails, even no haybales here in the sixties. Racing cars crossed just behind the trees.
