I think the readme / ToC on the 55f1 website which describes the whole season, results, cars etc. is great!  Would it be possible to make it available as pdf for offline reading?

One thing that also would be interesting to have is a description of each car's handling or how the Team 55 made the physics. And if they don't have the time, which sources they used, so we could then search for ourselves. That would help us knowing how to take the best of each car.

I say this because I went to my Ferrari literature to check out the behaviour of the Supersqualo, and even Tanner or Alan Henry are bit sparse on the details. Apparently the fact the car had most of its weight in-between the wheels increased adhesion but the loss of grip was also more sudden and less recoverable. But I could not tell if the car was that slow, or if it was simply the drivers that did not want to adapt.
In any case, It definitely feels a bit like that on GPL, twitchy on the limit.

Yes, the 55 season write up is very good. I did a bit of testing for the mod team and had access to it when it was written by Lee for the online Homepage. I know it's not music but it is a bit of an Opus. I'm hoping Lee sees this because it's a fine read all on it's own.
It's 13 pages when printed out.
How about it Lee. Can you release it separately?
Warren

I love this idea guys!

If it would help the modders,
I have a program I've installed on my machines, from my work.

-pdf995- I think it's a free download.
Makes any webpage or this thread a pdf!
I've saved to pdf and printed many forum threads involving sim racing.

Or copy paste the text and print to pdf in any respecting word processor. If you dont want to install an extra program

Wouldn't be official, but if you use Firefox there is a nice add-on - "Print Pages To PDF".  Once installed, right click on the page and select "Print to PDF" from the menu, in a few seconds you have it. Main drawback is no option to select part of the page, so you get the entire thing;  but quality is excellent and it's a great way to save forum threads, tutorials, etc.
