I was doing a texture for the Lancia (the end of the fuel tanks) and i found a problem with a polygon...if i´m not wrong the polygon has the Normals flipped...since it´s looks ok on Max after flip all normals to the same direction (outside)...

Speeds are in mph. Track was offline at Circuito Bloodbath - https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=3240
Using default setups (no over-inflated tyres to gain more speed or other tricks) across the board as offered with the exception of changing gear ratios to achieve the absolute maximum top end @ XXXXX rpm, I recorded values noted below. The object was to determine at what engine speed was the vehicle's top speed achieved.
1955 Top End
Vanwall > 164 @ 7100-7350
Gordini T16 > 162 6000-6125
Connaught > 160 @ 6000-6600
Maser 250F > 163 @ 7150-7600
Ferrari 555SS > 164 @ 6950-7350
Lancia D50 > 165 @ 7800-8050
Mercedes W196 > 167 @ 8650
Mercedes W196SL > 178 @ 8600
Ferrari 625 > 163 @ 6850-7350

How are you ?
I remember me, that we are drove many hot races together. Is the ADC still on living ?
I've stopped my online racing, but my interests are still the same
(GPL GT67 / CanAm 66 & 71 / 55 F1, Nascar 2003 / TransAm / GTP, GTL & GTR2)
I'm working the last years on my both tracks for GTL (Hamburger Stadtpark 39 & Deutschlandring 39) You've seen my pre videos on Youtube ?
Here now my speedtest part 2, on the Avus with the 55 italy cars.
Maserati = 262 Km/h @ 7400 Rpm, laptime = 2:16,79 (second lap)
Ferrari 625 = 262 Km/h @ 7200 Rpm, laptime = 2:16,66 (third lap)
Ferrari 555 = 265 Km/h @ 7200 Rpm, laptime = 2:16,23 (third lap)
Lancia = 265 Km/h @ 8000 Rpm, laptime = 2:15,53 (first lap)
Tomorrow i'll try the last two german cars.

In case you (or anyone else) get the bug again, the ADC forum and schedule is at https://forums.speedg...hp?showforum=27

The problem with the top speed is:...The handling of the cars are epic...probablibly the best physic in GPL with the CanAm66 IMO (after driving every single sim except iRacing). So... if they don´t reach the correct top speed is becouse are underpowered...and if you change the power you change the handling...so i will not expect to much response from the modding team.

Mercedes Open Wheeler = 266 Km/h @ 8500 Rpm, laptime =2:16,08 (second lap)
Mercedes Streamliner = 282 Km/h @ 8500 Rpm, laptime = 2:14,68 (third lap)
With ai cars, and one more for each straight with slipstream = 290 Km/h @ 8800-8900 Rpm, Lap 3 & 4 = 2:13,28 & 2:13,26.
This car are with the badest brakes ! Be careful ! Thank you for watching !
Thank you,Donnie and Bob for the info's
@ Hagapito40, you are right, and I like this carsets (F1 55 & CanAm66) but I'm not pleased with the fantasy parts of the physics, about the brakes and setup ranges, sorry.
Whatever, thx to all guys, who involved with this work ! ! !
....and Greg....I'm looking forward for the Nürburgring without the Hohenrain chicane.
At last a question please. Why I'm missing the german flag for the Avus in the GPL-Laptime menue ?
Sorry for my broken english.
