Here is the work that ginetto and I have done to try to convert John Basara's Monza 10k over to what it was like in 1955 for the 1955 Italian Grand Prix.

This graphical update uses the '55 Mod naming convention ie 3do files are 355; mip files are m55; and srb files are s55.

The circuit overhaul occurred sometime between 1954 and early 1955.... but mostly just in the areas of the north and south banking and the Parabolica.  The signalling towers were not installed until after the '55 GP.

There are a few large things that we did not attempt to make 'historic'.  Between the 1961 and 1962 Grand Prix races the pit buildings south of the paddock entrance were either moved or re-constructed back away from the track racing surface.  This allowed an actual pitlane protected by a section of armco.  At this time a new three story media tower was added where the previous two story tower was located.  At this time the pit garages that were used were now the ones to the far south from the paddock entrance.  We felt that this massive 3D object change was prohibitive for this project (maybe in the future!).  Also, this would have required a re-make of the AI lines past the pits.... which is already really cool.  The other major difference that we did not change was in the Parabolica area.  In 1955 the outside had an earthen berm much closer to the track.  Again, too much to attempt at this time.

There are also sub-folders with LOW-FB and HI-FB versions of the monza10k.355 file.

A small update for Monza 10k.  These are two beautiful textures for use by the '55 and '66 versions.  First, the warning marking on the asphalt at the entry to the North Banking for '66.  Then, an improvement to the concrete structural side to the North Banking for both '66 and '55.

I just realized that we had the wrong grandstands at the 2nd Lesmo corner for the '66 track version (original).  This small update for the '66 version of the track ('55 conversion complete folder) places the exact same grandstand at 2nd Lesmo as in the '67 Monza 1000km track version (original).  There are no changes to the '55 track version.
