I've 213.206 with the M8F '71 Can-am mod.Also 212.91? with King Wing in Thundercars.

Hi all !


Today i do a short loading test with the Thundercars-mod. It working nice with this track.

Many thanks to the team for this beauty and special to do it in the way to let it running with ALL mods.

Iestyn does indeed have the Can-Am 66 record on Hauls 2 for road America.
However Mr. Hulme no longer has the Can-Am 71 record. I have it at 2:06.51. I'm sure I won't have it for long.

I load my times on GPL Rank as and when I hot lap. At the moment I race more when I have the opportunity, more on GTR2  and GT Legends. The new Road America was too good to miss as it's a great track. Do you have a web address for Warren's server.

If you have not tried it yet, get on Road America in Training mode and drive it backwards. Just ignore the usual backwards popups and stuff. Big fun that way too.

This is a great representation of Road America. It appears to incorporate the actual amount of crown found on the real track. It has almost as much crown as Lou Magyars Bridgehamton track.
Hauls 2 server on iGOR has seen lots of traffic. It's still running The CanAm 71 mod on Roadamer.
I did have the server record at 2:06.51. As I predicted, "it  won't last long". The new server record for CanAm 71 is 2:03.92 by Greg Tabor.
One of the nice things about running a server is occasionally I get to see famous people join, such as Gino Ginetto. I just missed you today Gino. One of these days I'll be able to say "Hi"

Hello a tutti

Having some difficulties with the weight of this wonderful track, I decided to slightly reduce it, and now it run perfectly well.
So, if like me, you've had some little problems, try this, perhaps it will help you...

Another gem. Here's a giant, overdue thank you for all the dedicated humans still making GPL goodies for everyone. As a GPL'er since about 2002 I've been consistently blown away by the quality and quantity of the modders' work.

It's earned the title "Best Virtual Racing Encyclopaedia" many times over thanks to you guys.

Is it right that this track isn't in the gpla track database? I can only find the 1995 version there, which is a shame because this 1971 version is incredible.
