Hi all,

I have released a little update regarding the FairShift tool. There are two changes:

- Supports new mods (as requested)
- Shifter sound volume can be adjusted (by request from some users)

Hi John,
I want to report problems that I have with new version of fairshift. It simply stops working while I'm driving and my wheel G25 begins recalibration. Before I tested new version only offline and had no problems. Today during online sessions this happened two times.

There is window error message saying that fairshift stopped working. Here is detailed report:

I'm using Wn7 OS. Before I used fairshift v2.0 and never had problems.

My g27 pedals are connected via a Leo Bodnar cable,they show as g25 pedals which I selected in the fairshift app.

Fairshift though is seeing the clutch pedal in reverse.

I can shift in any gear but the car is in neutral until I press the clutch pedal and the gear is shown.

How do I reverse the axis?

Can't get fairshift to recognise the shifter.

May need a PC reboot.

Will try in five more(yes still rocking the mechanical hd here).

I have a question here... 6th gear does not seem to work in the slightest here. Everything else does.
And I haven't found the solution around the forums here, so is there a known fix?

Same problem. 6th gear on Lotus 43 from 66 mod doesn't work here...

just a stab in the dark here, but do you run gplshift too?
maybe the shifting_behaviour feature is active & the setting is set incorrectly?

Yes, I run Gplshift too. When I have to use FairShift for league races I set Shifter_Model = NONE in gplshift.ini to disable shifting for Gplshift.

Shifting_Behaviour = 1 - I never changed this settings. Because 1 is only mode for Logitech G25.

Fairshift works without problem for cars with 6 speed gearbox from 65 mod. So problem is with 66 mod, I think.

you're correct, shifter_model = none for me too. Shifting_Behaviour = 6
I tried the lotus 43 & I could get 6th ok.

I haven't changed anything. Just tried 66 mod and 6th gear works again... I'm puzzled

I have again problem with Fairshit during the online races.The last this evening ,i choose a Lancia 1955 with 5 gears but online only 4 work.
Not online is all OK.I can't undestand why.

Oh, it seems like I have same problem. 6th gear on Lotus 43 from 66 mod works in testing mode, race mode, online when I host the race. But if join server fro online race then 6th gear doesn't work.

Tried 2.0 and 2.1 versione, no one works..
I use GPL Shift for my SST H shift 8 gears and this works fine, then I would like to setting this Fairshift to prevent too quick change gears like request in some champs

I tried to take off the GPL SHIFT also, delete all gpl#.exe and rebiuld via GEM, launch fairshift and setting button (doesn't read the shift impulse so I writed number manually

This is some screen, anyone have same problem?

Hi all,

Ive read that some ppl reported problems especially with the new released 67 sports car mod. Gear changing seems to work offline but not online. There might be a difference in memory addresses online / offline but thats just a first hint Ive read today.

I have to get the system here ready for GPL again and am also missing a real gaming device so testing is a bit awful. Will try to keep you updated if there is new information. ATM there is already an unofficial new version with a minor change for selecting your devices (lots of devices in the list not being shown e.g.) and an updated xml list.
