Thanks to nVidia's dodgy advertising that stated that the GTX970 had 4Gb of video RAM when it only actually had 3.5Gb, a class action lawsuit has been settled today with nVidia promising to pay every GTX970 owner on the planet $30 in compensation for the "missing" VRAM. More here:

It is valid only for North America, plus it's not been approved yet by any court.
I also fear that they'll agree to pay only who bought the card before the so-called "ram-gate", so a small portion of the entire owners base
