Another nice mod. Thank you guys! It's very kind of you to produce these. These mods and tracks have become an artform to me. When I drive Targa it makes me wonder if Ginetto has some Micheangelo in him. Spa67 is beautiful and these mods are fantastic whether you like the particular cars or not.

I didn't get particularly excited about 1966 Can Am cars. But I immediately liked the Surtees background and I like the mod more, the more I've driven it. That's a great sign!

No low fps problems for me, of course not! Though I wonder how it is compatible with the 60fps mods. Is it in any way?

It doesn't matter what track. When i'm alone it's fine. Back of a field it's 10fps. I kept taking cars away and even at 5 cars it's 20fps with lots of stutters. It stays that way as long as cars are in front of me.

I don't have the most up to date system, but I can run AC and Project Cars with high fps. Those two should be more drain on a system than anything in GPL.

Pete, do you have a Windows 64-bit OS installed and at least 4GB system memory?   If so, please try patching your "donor" gpl.exe file with the 4GB Patch.  It makes a world of difference even on very high end PCs.

Yes, I have 64 bit Win 10 with 6GB of memory. I forgot to try 4GB patch. I have it on everything else. I'll report back.

What graphics card do you use?  I've seen big fps drops with the default settings (don't ask me why).  I have an nVidia GeForce GTX 760 and I use nVidia Inspector for the graphics settings.  There are settings for iRacing and I use that, assigning it to all the related GPL EXEs and adjusted slightly to taste.

I have the same card. Just entered a race for the first time at St. Jovite. 25fps at the back of the grid with OGL and 15fps with D3D. What the :angry33:?

My processor was £250 second hand only a few months ago (over £300 new), and I have 8GB RAM and a top of the range SSD. I suppose this means I need a new graphics card now or what?

the 5870 should be plenty for GPL

I just tried a dozen different combos of settings. What fixed it was setting Rasterizer > Use Z-Buffer

When I set it to use Z-Buffer in a separate thread, the FPS is horrendous.

I use all cars with 100% fov.
Except in the Chaparral, I can't see the mirror.
Is for this car a virtual mirror, or a alternative mirror position available ?
