Is there a mean to install Monacane track without the original GPL CD ? I only have the 1.2.0.2 / all-in-one patch / GPLPS installer and I would like to try Monacane with the new '67 historic MOD.

Je ne comprend pas ton problème?
You have Monacane complete folder on carset2 zip file of the 67 V 2.0 new mod .Monacane being in the season67.ini included with the carset, you can select it in the track list in GEM

Oupppsss, I haven't seen the monacane complete folder in the carset2 zip

With the season.ini included in the 67carset V 2.0, the original Monaco won't work .But you can drop down the Monacane driv67X .ini in Monaco folder , and they will show up

have you seen Chris and Gianfranco have deliberately included the 3 drivers in their exact liveries, that DNQ in the real race.

Oh no !! Unfortunately, my problem is not solved ! I don't have the complete folder of Monacane in my GPL installation because I can't install this track (you need the original GPL CD !)

the last file,  the 30 mega limit upload for one post being reached

I think  unlike at the GPL track Database, where you need the installer, the folder here is complete, as it has been already installed .It shld appear in your track list in Gem, if you select the 67 season

Un succès !! Not a big difference in graphics between Monaco and Monacane but the new physics of the MOD are very impressive !

No graphics differences, yes, as we can use most of the Monaco rocks v 2 files over monacane.

Now, at GPL Repository, we have seen clearer the problem with Monacane. That 's not the position of the  snd Shell plots on the right that is far better positioned than with Papyrus, but there is still a wrong distance between the apexes, I calculated that in Real Life there was a 13.8 m min/ 14.1 m max distance. So Monacane is better, because of the angle between the Shell plots, but it didn't cure the distance between the two Shells plots.
IN real life, this quite big distance offer the possibility to cross the chicane faster than with Monacane. But anyway clearly slower than with Papy track.


Oh, and I am curious : have you lost your original CD ?

I can feel the difference at the chicane between Monacane and real life (when watching videos). Concerning this specific point, I don't know if I prefer the Papy track (the rythm in the chicane is more funny !).
Do you know if there will be an update of Monacane with a new chicane closer to the real life ?

PS : my original CD is dead (I was a young player in 1999-2000 then I came back in 2006...)
