here is my pribluda.ini.
it is the same version as yours, Michel - version = 1.1.2.1
there are some differences with the colours etc but basically it is the same as far as i can tell.

here are some screenies (fraps :) ) using my pribluda ini, one from an old backup of a separate 67historicV2 install that has a note saying "67x"at the head of the file,  michel's ini & finally a 65mod online qualifying session using my ini.

when online racing, the colours are what I expect.

with all v2historic tests all drivers are white & no position numbers are shown.

Any ideas appreciated however it's not a major issue & it seems like an isolated case on my pc. Another clean install might cure it but I don't have the time for it right now.

I run a pair of nvidia gtx550ti gfx cards with a 19" monitor,

...You have  a good point.  I personally prefer to have a GPL installation for each mode to avoid the risk of "contaminating" one mod with the other. Of course this means to replicate tracks in more installations.

You can use symbolic links (hard links) to point to one tracks folder, so no need to duplicate several gig of tracks for each install.  Install A could have all the tracks in its track folder, install B would have a track folder containing nothing but the link file;  when install B looks for a track, windows sees the link file and redirects to the install A track folder.

This works in Vista and later with NTFS using command line functions, but you can find numerous utilities that provide a gui interface.

https://www.howtogee...ndows-or-linux/

I've used these for years to keep games and other software from cluttering the C drive (My Documents) with saved games, mods, images, etc.  The main caveat is to remember to disable the link before deleting it, or windows in its sublime stupidity will also delete the folder to which it points.

interesting Tip jgf .At the moment, I have all GPL game in one install ( with several back ups on separate drives), but that is great to have this comfortable possibility.

I still have not tried to fix the pribluda issue but currently it is not a big issue as I am driving without prib for 'realism' sake.

I wonder if again it is only me but during my full gp races there are usually only a handful of cars that actually finish the races.
Is this usual for the gp events?

During the actual 67 season, if there were only 5 actual finishers, would the 6th placed car score in spite of not actually finishing the race?

edit:
Using wikipedia as reference it appears so, assuming Irwin's engine expired on lap 77 & he did not cross the line while Rodriguez did cross the line 4 laps down.
It is difficult to tell from the other wiki races' reports.

That's why I start full GP races from the back of the field now. I don't even bother to qualify. There's lot's of time to pass everybody and I don't need to take chances. I also don't have to deal with being taken out in the 1st turn of the race. It's much less stressful and fun. The amount of DNF's is also high in a GP race as you're finding out.

Not sure about the point thing? I never paid attention to whether someone was still running that got points.

Thanks Pete.
It's a bit of a shame the retirement rate is so high as we lose the enjoyment of catching people in the latter part of the race, but, finishing the race is challenge enough :D

I am having to run through a gp event to allow the ai to adjust to my pace (never driven the 67x cars before) & then I will try to start from my quali position. If all goes sideways due to the tight grid positions I end up restarting from the back & picking the ai off one at a time.
I ran Nürburgring last weekend, from the back, managed to make the finish

I never noticed it, but that's not a view you see very often if at all.

I always use this view, like that , in case of an accident, being above the car, I am not hurt !

In fact I have seen it because I do a carset and I wanted to check a skin

Good plan about not getting hurt. I've learned to just jump real far and real fast. It hasn't worked that well so far. I'm thinking an ejection seat might be better.

Just don't use one of these.  ;)

"Early Starfighters (F-104) used a downward-firing ejection seat (the Stanley C-1), out of concern over the ability of an upward-firing seat to clear the "T-tail" empennage. This presented obvious problems in low-altitude escapes, and 21 USAF pilots, including test pilot Capt. Iven Carl Kincheloe Jr, failed to escape from their stricken aircraft in low-level emergencies because of it."

I'm thinking ejecting downwards in a race car wouldn't turn out well.

SPLAT!
