Thanks Malbound for your interest but I am done with working on 67 F1. I did make a start on the Tom Jones T82 but I seem to have accidentally deleted the car folder when I cleaned out my 67-Work folder. From memory as he barely made a lap the car wasn't high on my list and has been taken off now.
Also I do not think your original picture is of Tom Jones at Mosport 67. Although it says Tom Jones on some sites I have also read somewhere that it is McLaren driving the car which looks reasonable. I also agree with what Michel has pointed out.

I succeeded in installing this incredible piece of work into my collection of GPL installs (I keep all of my mods separate) This is the crown jewel of them all. Question... I have been in the habit of setting things up in Gem, exiting, then playing from the newly created executable inside the GPL folder. Well for this V2 mod, it creates 7 executables .... what exactly is the difference between each or do I have to play this one through Gem each time? (Patience ... I might fully understand how Gem works someday)

The Historical V2 mod tries to cover all of the cars which were used in all of the races during the 1967 season. This includes different versions of the cars that we already know from the original '67 cars. For example the Ferrari 312 - in the '67 Historical V2 mod, there are (I think) five different versions of the Ferrari car. They are the 312-66 (the old 1966 car which was still in use early in the season), 312A, 312B, 312C and the 312 48-valve car which was introduced towards the end of the season (the other versions all had 36-valve engines). This variation in cars also applies to the other makes. It was impossible to fit all the different cars into one car set, so the mod authors decided to create seven car sets to hold them all. That's why there are seven executables, one for each car set. Each model of car has its own physics, so it behaves differently. I've tested all the Ferrari cars at Monza, and the later versions are slightly faster than the earlier ones, due to increases in engine performance and reductions in weight during the season. This demonstrates how accurate and comprehensive the '67 Historical mod V2 is.
If you use GEM, you can select which car set you want to use from a drop-down box on the left of the screen. This drop-down gives brief details of which races were covered by a particular car set. Obviously, car set one covers the start of the season, and the others are used successively until car set seven is used to cover the final races of the season. Selecting a different car set in GEM runs a different executable from the GPL folder. You can run each of the seven executables directly, but you won't get the info about exactly which races should be covered by that car set. Also, you will notice that if you choose car set one, you will get different car choices in-game than if you choose car set seven.
If you want to carry on running GPL without GEM, then it may be worth making some notes about which car versions are available in each car set (and thus with each executable), so that you can select a particular car more easily in the future.

I downloaded the mod the day it was released but resisted installing til just several days ago. I wanted to scope the input from users to determine if there were any drawbacks. To date, there are 23 pages of posts and I've saved them all to a reference file on my HD for scanning offline. It's quite something to see that such a major opus has so few glitches and/or negative feedback. Let me complement all involved in it's production. Truly superb!
One thing... Pribluda was included as a default for users. I personally condemn this utility. How best to deactivate it, chaps?

It sounds like you won't use Pribluda at all, so in your GPL folder there is an app called pribpatcher. Open that and a small windpw will pop up and ask if you want to patch the GPL exe with pribluda. Type N in for the answer and pribluda will be disabled.
If you want to do it on a mod by mod basis, just tick or untick the Enablepribluda box in GEM+.

A great big thank you to all involved in creating this incredible Mod ! I can't tell you how much I am enjoying it. I'd also like to say that if it weren't for this site I could never have been able to find all the files needed to enjoy this sim to it's fullest extent. Thank you to this community for keeping this extraordinary sim going.

Pete here is a quick list for the sound files. I am guessing the Brabham sound you want to change is for the Repco V8. That is 6700. What are you going to change it to?
6700=Repco V8
6701=Climax L4 for BT11
6702=BRM H16 for BRMs
6703=BRM V8 for P261
6704=Maserati V12
6705=Climax L4 for T79
6706=Weslake V12
6707=Climax L4 for T1F
6708=Ferrari V12
6709=Cosworth V8
6710=BRM H16 for Lotus 43
6711=BRM V8 for Lotus 33
6712=BRM V12
6713=Honda V12
6714=Cosworth L4
Thanks for the photo of Fisher Malbound.
