No guarantees on what happens to your install.  Sorry but I couldn't be bothered to eliminate the disembodied flagpoles at the top of the straight.  You want to try?  A 'blank' mip has been provided for you to fool about with 'em but you may kill off others elsewhere placed.  Caution.

Keep in mind that these mips are appropriate only for pre-1967 Canadian GP.

Because in 1966 they were not been built yet. They were for the 1967 F1 GP This AiO is meant to work both for 1967 and also for the upcoming 1966 CanAm mod

Manfred I tried your fix and it works there's a problem though, it also gets rid of a lot of the public together with the three grandstands

The new 1967 folder should be coming soon

The sound is linked to the original grandstands so if you get rid of those 3do there will be no sound implemented

Remy, that removes the main straight grandstands very well, while leaving the back straight grandstand intact.  Thank you!  

It appears that there was a large car park where the grandstands were later constructed... with room for crowds to watch the race at the fences.

As, for the additional bare poles.... those had very large Canadian flags that were not there, thus made invisible.  The placement of these additional poles (the same 3D structure as those needed for telephone poles) must be in the mosport.3do file or trk file.

Yup, these things are always difficult without a full team to do modifications.... and the 'proper' amount of time.

Sorry for being late lads.. unfortunately I am suffering from some health problems in the last few days and today I even got to the hospital

I have prepared a new 1967 F1 optional folder which is meant to replace the old one, you can download it in first post here
basically it has sand edges and a new edgea.mip done by Gliebzeit I hope you enjoy
of course, since it is a separate download, you can always keep your old one if you prefer it
