Thank you, Orpheus.  It looks very nice from the screens you posted.  Just downloaded and installed.  I look forward to trying it out.

WOW great work!!! THANKS :) :)

Just a couple hints:
- you should match fe146.mip with fe145.mip, as now the cage steel color does not match
- electric wires for the spark plugs should be black and not blue

Thank you! Very nice update. Any way to get the wheels you're using?

Wheels are by Van Gossum (mip) and Gary Tall (3do) from circa 2003.  (By the way, the wheel 3do files are the "2D wheels seen in your mirrors" version - with correct brake disc placement).

Thanks! I now have the correct wheels. However, with the previous updates I must have somehow messed things up, as now I have (I think) the latest dashboard and the steering wheel with red stripe, which is fine, but somehow I'm back to the black cloth sides instead of leather! Which files from which update do I need to get back to the nice black leather?

Mario (and Leon), the Ferrari axle graphics are extremely good!!!

Please try this revised mip.  The axle graphics are the one place where using NO-subimages, which causes the 'glimmering' effect at distance, is a cool illusion.  This makes the axle seem to be rotating.  I make this change for all of the rear half-shaft axles on the F1 cars.

EDIT:  For use with D3D rasterizer only.

Greg I tried your mip but I get no glimmering at distance :(

The shafts look superb! And the leather thing apparently was not my mistake (it's a miracle!) so I'll patiently wait for a leather update. that last part needs to be read in its context. :) Thanks for all the effort on the Ferrari!

OpenGL or D3D? They handle MIPs differently.

Ah..... Nicolas, I'd forgotten that!  I use D3D.  (senior moment - great all encompassing excuse!)  :)
