The Ferrari depicted on GPL original box cover is the number 3 with Chris Amon at the wheel .The only race he entered with the 312 / 36 valves/ number 3 / was the Dutch Gp at Zandvoort.

The 36 valves didn't have the aluminum flaps there, as well as for the other races it entered

Here  an entertaining job I did to get the "good" car

before and after

The GPL box cover is a photoshopped version of Hulme going over the Flugplatz crest at the Nurburgring in his Brabham BT24, made to look like Amon in his Ferrari. The deal with Ferrari was made very late so the box cover art had already been made, then hastily adjusted to show the Fez in an attempt to boost sales.

I saw a picture of the original BT24 box art once but don't have it.

interesting  piece of cake story Tommie. Sorry for Denny, he deserved to win the box contest !

And I was wondering where is the jump at Zandy ??

Confusion was acceptable,  as Ferrari used those flaps, but at the Mexican Gp, and with the 48 valves
