Hi all,

Here is a new highres desktop icon I made for GPL. It gets rid of the old low res one once and for all .

To install just download the icon and place it somewhere safe on your PC, doesn't really matter where as long as you are able to find it back . Then go to your desktop and rightclick your GPL shortcut --> 'properties' --> change icon, then browse to where you placed the icon file on your PC.

@Pedro,You can start GEM with this icon on your desktop, that is what I always do.

Is there a way to change the gpl.exe default icon with this? (I am not talking about the desktop link to the .exe)

I'm not aware of a method which allows for this. It can always be done if you have enough knowledge about hex editing . Maybe someone else here has an idea .

Thank you for this. I've used the icon for my whole sim racing folder

on the desktop. Looks great!
