    Hello

    I made a 1.290 night course I think it's fun to race, 9 turns esse's, sight elvation.changes,
    I used outlaw cts, pta, mods..for racing. I do what i can for the time i have, no ground breaking
    graphics, i take a track open it and use whats there, I make the ai as best as i can using a gamepad.

    I got hooked on short roadies, so thats what i like to race. I hope you will to..
    Watch the ai in the pits...little issue...

    Kurt

    Thank You SRMZ...

    Thank you Kurt for sharing your tracks. Since they come without installer, I'd need a little help. Unpacked the rar-file, renamed it to "sandy", then it shows in GEM+ season manager. But in CA71seas.ini there is "name=     " and the flag is "saflg" (Kyalami). I didn't succeed to use the tracks up to now. :idunno:  Thank you for your advice.

    The track is not for GPL but for nascar 2003.
    So it won't work on GPL ;)

      all you need to do is unpack it, there are 2 folders the track is in the 2nd folder, you can copy and paste track to your NR2K3..track folder.
      Hope that helps

        I have a problem downloading it though.
        When I click on the rar file it tells me this:

          Kurt, it's good to have you back. :thumbup:

          Even though it's close to a mile and a half, Sandy Short exhibits the qualities of short track racing.

          When I work on ai, I strive to have aggressive ai to promote passing with minimal to no wrecking.
          Since I've run more races with the new track.ini, I think I was too timid with the ai_drafting_distance value. Usually, a value of 1.07 is about the lowest you can go with stock cars on a RC. However, in the short track tradition, some bumping is (almost) demanded.
          Once the field starts to string out, ai passing opportunities decease, but with a little more aggressive drafting value it appears that you can get more passing action without unwarranted wrecking. [If wrecks are your thing, keep lowering the ai_drafting_distance value until the wrecking becomes unbearable.]

          Warning: low "Driver/RC" and "Vehicle/Chassis" ai ratings will lead to more ai mayhem with these values.
          [ ai_track ]
          ai_drafting_distance = 1.05    ; was 1.07
          ai_squeeze_pcnt = 0.05    ; was 0.00

          [ ai_track_cts ]
          ai_drafting_distance = 1.05    ; was 1.07
