Hi everyone,

Here is my version of Westwood Racing Circuit as it was in 1965 to 1969. I tried to be as historically accurate as possible using all the information I could find. I hope you will enjoy it.

The track install name is west1967

The races from 1966 - 1969 were sponsored by Pepsi and each year were known as the Westwood Pepsi Pro-Invitational Race. The one in 1965 I have set to show Texaco as the main sponsor and was known as the Westwood Texaco Grand Prix.

EDIT: Testing the track after reducing 92 mip's and srb's for my old PC (for the "old" rules of 256 max. ). Looks great as ever. On some places a bit FPS-hungry. Many thanks again.

Hmmmmmm, this is your second harsh critisism of a track in these forums. I then assumed you must make some excellent stuff and searched for something/anything in GPL made by you and found absolutely nothing.
I have also seen all the posts where you asked for something yet never helped anyone else.


In the meantime I found THIS and I thought of you.
Since you're so bored you could also have a look at THIS.

Keith, I´m sure Guido can appreciate the efforts of track makers. I think a Total Monster Rank is a great tribute to all our track geniuses.

I'm new to GPL, and I have yet to get up and running, but I came across this track on You Tube and was totally blown away by how real it looks. I raced on this track years ago as did both of my parents from opening day in 1959! I can't wait to get the game set-up and sorted so I can drive around this track once again. Thanks for Bring Westwood back to life!!!!
