This utility was originally intended to edit lp files, but I didn't get around to adding many editing features. It's not bad for viewing lp files, and probably ok for setting flags.

It's useful (amongst other things) for seeing what flags Papy used where on the original tracks, which is a good guideline for adding them for new tracks.

Your being way to modest Nigel,

This is a great tool! clapping.gif

I've already had much help from it using it for Montjuich.

Anyway a big thank you for making the effort! thumbsup.gif

I've stumbled on this error on a couple of tracks.... oops.gif

Any idea what's causing this? think.gif

Probably a non-standard wall type. However I thought I'd posted a version that would handle that. If you can tell me which tracks this is happening on I'll get it fixed.

Your comment made me have a look on which version i had. I downloaded the one you posted here and there were no error's anymore. I got my version from Paul and it appears to be an early one.

Anyway all is well now thumbsup.gif

Here's the new version, with a whole new way of making lp files. Many thanks to Martin Huiskes who not only tested it exhaustively and made many helpful suggestions which have been incorporated, but also produced the tutorial helpfile which makes sense of the arcane world of GPL AI.

hey Nige, i've never tempted to toy with AI except to race them, is this tool for dummies? or do you need some idea of whats involved? i wouldn't want to mess with files unless its pain free smile.gif

i see you said it comes with a tutorial, but i just wondered how difficult it might be for someone like me.
thx

I'd like to say it's pain free, but I'd be lying. AIEdit doesn't even really make it easier to do, but I think it does make it much easier to do well. But if you still think you might be interested taking a look at the tutorial would be a good place to start.

Nigel and Martin,

the tutorial alone is a piece of gold!
