Hi, guys. This is my newest track, a short and demanding track located in San Luis Potosí. Unfortunately, the layout does not exist any more; in its place an oval was built. I love this little track, due to its tricky S curve after turn 2.

Mmm...
Runs great for quali but I get a CTD on clicking green to start a race.
This occurs whether I qualify, accelerate time through qualifying or skip qualifying!!

Down to a 39 51 lap already.

Alan: Thanks for your feedback. It might be you have the wrong driver.ini? Sometimes this happens to me. A sudden CTD like that usually means that there's a wrong 3do file lurking around, or that a 3do file is missing. Check your driver.ini and the carset you're using and make sure they match. (As a tip, if you get the dreaded "Could not load track" message, it usually means that a texture fule is missing).

Let me know if you solved the problem. I'll be around to help in any way I can.

BTW, let me know what happens when you hotlap on the track, please.

Don't quite understand what you mean as all is ok with the other 265 tracks I have so the .ini / carset match should be ok.

That's the first thing I supposed. OK, so it's not that. Have you tried hotlapping in the track? I tested the track with the AI (had to, because I made it by myself while not having an internet connection) and there were no CTD's. Mmmhhhh If you suffer a CTD while hotlapping, let me take a look at the folder.

In the meantime, here's my own zipped folder for you to overwrite yours. Let me know if this worked.

No trouble while hotlapping only on clicking green to start the race.
I'll try your zip file.

No change, still CTDs.

It's an error in the track.ini, Raul. Position 19 on the grid is undefined and needs to have a "3" inserted to avoid the CTD.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, Steve. I'll correct the file as soon as possible.

Thanks to Pbearsailor for spotting that error. Apparently it had something to do with the download, because I opened the track.ini file and it was correct.

The error in the track.ini file caused GPl to crash when 19 opponents (and the opponent) were ready to start the race. It can be corrected by adding a 3 in the last line of the starting grid.

It says:

stall_19 = 1138.0 -

should say:

stall_19 = 1138.0 -3

That is enough to correct the error.
