Indeed a nice set-up --- where did u get the seat??? and whats the black frame made from???

Looks real sweet smile.gif
Bob Dunlop
bye1.gifHey Jason,I got the seat from Summit Racing products for $149.00 on sale
and $20.00 for the universal seat mounts and the frame I made from 2" Black ABS plastic pipe, plywood, and black carpet all from Lowes Hardware for about another $150.00.
No real plans other than just some rough sketches just to figure out how much pipe and how many fittings I would need.LOL ,lots of fittings.
The cool thing about the ABS plastic pipe is its real easy to cut and the adhesive sticks instantly.
I did the whole thing in my apartment in a couple of evenings. smile.gif
Thanks fof the compliments guy's

What a great set up..the ECC wheel and pedals look fantastic so does the great frame you have built. thumbsup.gif.

Does the wheel have a gear stick or do you use paddles.?

Cool setup Bob! thumbsup.gif

Now, you just need one of those 180 degree monitors! kewlpics.gif
Bob Dunlop
smile.gifThanks for the cool compliments guys.
I'm currently using the paddels to shift.
ECCI says they are working on a stick shift now and I probably will get it as soon as it becomes available.
Currently I have the clutch, pmb braking, fluid dampener w/ cooling jacket and the high definition usb options.
Also they are comming out w/ more buttons as a addon. smile.gif
and yeah the 180 degree monitor would rock.
Scotty do you know who makes them and how much they are?
and I wonder how high the resolution is.
My Samsung 21.3" lcd I love but it only goes to 1600x1200. smile.gif

Okay, I'm somewhat embarassed to post after seeing Bob's UltraWhizzo HiTech creation, but what the hell... smile.gif

I've gone with a somewhat more rustic sensibility - can't be bothered to paint it, as I keep cutting bits off of it and/or bolting new bits onto it. (It's on it's third different wheel (Logitech DFP) and second seat - so it's been redesigned a few times.)

Basically, it's just a rectagular wooden frame (5' x 2') with a tiltable pedal 'shelf', and a tiltable table that slides over the frame rails. The table screws into the frame for stability, but can (theoretically) be removed to be put away. This has never happened. The seat I got for free when my girlfriend's last car died -- though since I had to buy her another car, it wasn't exactly 'free', I suppose. smile.gif

Oh, and it has a cupholder. (Which doubles as a remote control holder.)

But it's the 61' Sony that makes it... biggrin.gif
