Canadian American Challenge Cup 1966 Released

CanAm 66 MOD

Launched in 1966, the Can-Am was a province of pure performance. Rules and restrictions were amazingly minimal. That's why the series gave us the most imaginative, innovative, intriguing sports racing cars anyone had ever seen.
The GPL CanAm66 mod project went from something simple to something grand, challenging, and unique. It only happened because of the mod team's enthusiasm and skill on all things related to GPL and racing.
After eight years of construction we are done. The CanAm66 mod project went from something simple to something grand, challenging, and unique. It only happened because of the mod team's enthusiasm and skill on all things related to GPL and racing. In the end your team delivered beautiful looking, sounding, and properly performing cars to compliment awesome new tracks, and to make this as an immersive racing experience as possible. I, for one, am forever in debt to and thank the entire GPL mod team, testers, contributors, advisors, and friends we have all made along the way. Time for fun...

As Pete Lyons said :

"Hard to believe it's been half a century — yet we still remember the mighty machines of the Canadian-American Challenge Cup Series and how our road courses trembled under our shoes!
